Nath e Manu reviewing the wireframes presented today to our friend and client Juliana Sícoi. Another photographer who trusts our team to develop her website and on-line strategy. It was great to have Juliana visiting our studio one more time. She’s always fun!

Our t-shirts are finally ready. After 47 thousand versions, we got the “cloud tag” with most of the words and ideas that come to our minds everyday. The pretty model in the photo is Nath.

we like cssmayo

And CSSMayo likes us too. They put a spolight on us on their website. Isn’t that nice?

make my logo bigger

This is an oldie, but works now and ever. Every agency, every designer has already experienced a similar situation. The client asks to make his logo bigger and, to be perfect, get rid of all the empty spaces. It’s the famous “I’ve paid for the whole page of this magazine and this damn designer only uses a third of it”. The video os funny, but it touches a subject that’s always serious among those working in the creative process.

The client’s interference in the design is, usually, a disaster. For a very simple reason: the designer is the one who understands design. And, presumably, that was the reason why he was hired in the first place. The professional designer (the good one) spends most of his life studying. There’s a technical and coherent reason why he aligns elements a certain way or chooses a specific color scheme. He knows what he’s doing.

The client will always have the right to make suggestions or fail a design piece. But the less he interferes in the creation, the better for his own image. To hire a designer and tell him what to do is like calling a 17th century baroque painter to give a hand on the garage wall.

la vita center print

This week we delivered all the stationaries and envelopes for our cliente La Vita . The design follows the same line of the renewed identity we’ve created and was already reflected in a few recent magazine ads.

wireframes, juliana lery e serapião

This week, photographer Juliana Lery came to our studio to aprove the wireframes for her new website. Juliana, more then a client, is a great friend, who follows our steps for a long time. She is one of the “craziest” persons of the world, in the best possible way. Authentic, she always speaks her mind. And we’re proud to be part of her work. The wireframes were made by our own Nath (in the picture).
